HOWDENS TRADE STORE
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW TRADE STORE
We were approached by our clients and instructed to design and build a purpose made unit within our Industrial Estate in order to provide the ideal space to expand their business and deliver products and services to a wider area.
The ambitious twenty-week programme commenced with foundations being excavated and all associated drainage and mains services installed. The building was then formed utilising a steel frame with brick and blockwork walls and steel cladding above to match existing units within the Estate. Large roller doors were fitted to enable ease of use for our client as well as pedestrian entrances. Internally perimeter walls were faced with blockwork, a highly polished concrete floor laid and all necessary electrical and heating installations were carried out. Finally, exterior fencing was erected and a new car park area created to conclude this project to an excellent standard of finish, ready for handover to our clients on time to enable their own internal fit out to commence prior to their grand opening date.
