NEW HOUSE, BATH, SOMERSET

We were delighted to be awarded the contract to construct a new modern and architecturally excited dwelling overlooking the magnificent valleys surrounding the city of Bath. The architectural design coupled with the severity of the sloping site had created a challenging project and with careful planning we set about bringing their vision to life. Deep excavations were formed with reinforced retaining walls to suit ground conditions of the sloping site. Construction of the new dwelling continued at pace with stone and timber clad facades. Large areas of glazing were installed to make the most of the outstanding views of the countryside. Internally the house was finished in a minimalist style which complimented the overall ethos of the design.
